Goldengrain Agrovet Private Limited is located over at Sukh Sagar on Sarat Bose Road. If you know the 700020 area of Kolkata, you know it can get pretty crowded with cars and people. Our office is at 2/5 and it is where we handle all the day-to-day business for the agrovet side of things. It is not a huge place, just a regular workspace with a lot of paperwork and people talking on phones. We deal with stuff for animals and farming mostly. The mornings are usually the busiest time because that is when the calls start coming in from people wanting to check on their orders. The air conditioning in the building works most of the time, which is a relief when the Kolkata humidity gets really bad outside. We have a small team here and everyone pretty much knows what they have to do. There is no corporate manual or anything like that, just people working. We go out for lunch at the local shops nearby or sometimes just bring a tiffin from home. It is a straightforward way of making a living. We have been in this building for a while now and the neighbors know us. We just keep our heads down and try to get the grains and supplies moved to where they need to go without too much trouble or delay. It is a lot of routine.
