Our office is located at No. 55/1b Strand Road, up on the 2nd floor. If you know this part of the city, you know how busy it gets. The traffic outside is constant, and you can always hear the horns and the people shouting down on the street. It’s an old building, so the stairs can be a bit of a climb if you aren’t used to them. We’ve been working out of this space for some time now, focusing on agri products. Inside, it’s mostly desks piled with ledgers and files because we still like to keep track of things on paper. The windows don’t block out much of the noise, but we’ve gotten used to it. We spend a lot of time on the phone with suppliers and making sure orders are moving. It’s a small team here, just a handful of us managing the daily grind. Sometimes the ceiling fans squeak, but they keep the air moving during the hot months. We don't have a big showroom or anything like that, just an honest workspace where we get things done. Being on Strand Road means we are close to everything, which helps with logistics even if the congestion is a headache. We usually grab lunch from the stalls nearby. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s our life and we’ve made this office home. Every day brings a new set of challenges with shipments and paperwork, but we manage.
