Gmmco Technology Services Limited

Our office is at 9/1 R.N. Mukherjee Road in Kolkata. It’s an old part of town with a lot of history and old buildings. Gmmco Technology Services Limited has been operating from here for a while now. The building is one of those classic ones with high ceilings and heavy doors. It stays relatively cool inside even when it’s boiling outside in the summer. We handle technical services, mostly stuff involving machines and systems. My desk is right by the door, so I see everyone coming in and going out. There are quite a few people working here, so it gets loud with all the talking and phones ringing throughout the day. We usually go out for rolls at lunch from the stall around the corner. The traffic on R.N. Mukherjee Road is always a mess, so I usually take the bus or the metro. We have a lot of manuals and technical books stacked on the shelves. They are a bit dusty because we don't move them often. We don't really do much decorating. It’s just a place to work. Sometimes the printer jams and we all have to take turns trying to fix it before it gets annoying. It's a solid group of people here. Most of us have been working together for years. We know how things run and what needs to be done. Kolkata is a busy city, and this street is right in the middle of everything.
