Global Computer

We’ve been here at Strand Road for a while now. Global Computer is tucked away in the New Building on the second floor. You have to find Room No 5a to get to us. It’s not the easiest place to find if you’re just walking by, but we like being here. The area gets busy, but up on the second floor, it stays a bit quieter. We spend most of our time looking at screens and trying to figure out what’s wrong with whatever came in that day. It's just a small space really. Sometimes the hallways are a bit dark, but once you get inside, we’ve got everything set up the way we need it. People come to us when they need something fixed or if they're looking for a part they can't find elsewhere around Strand Road. We don’t have fancy signs or anything like that. Just the name on the door. It’s mostly just us working through the pile of things people leave with us. Some days are more packed than others. We try to keep things organized but sometimes cables get everywhere. It’s just part of the job. Being on the 2nd floor of 37 New Bldg keeps us away from the main noise of the street. If you're coming over, just look for the stairs. It’s a bit of a climb but we're there. We've been in this room for years and know exactly where everything is kept. It works for us.
