The building is older, which gives it a bit of character, though the elevator can be a bit temperamental sometimes. We’ve got a decent amount of space, but it’s mostly taken up by old cabinets and desks that have been here since before I started. Our daily routine is pretty set—coffee first thing, then checking the mail and getting started on the logs. It’s a lot of manual work and keeping track of things on paper as much as on the computer. We’ve been in this spot for years and the neighborhood has changed around us, but our office stays pretty much the same. It’s a reliable place to be, and we know our way around every creak in the floorboards. It works for us.
