You can find us at 294 BB Ganguly Street, which is right near Lal Bazar. This area is always full of people and cars, so it’s never really quiet around here. Our building is one of those old ones that has seen a lot of history. Inside, we have our equipment for making lenses. It’s a mix of some newer machines and some older ones that still work perfectly fine. We spend most of our day looking through glass and making sure things are clear. It's a job that requires a lot of patience. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but that’s just part of living in this city. The shop floor is usually covered in little bits of shavings from the lens grinding process. We try to keep it clean, but it’s a constant battle. Our team is small, and we’ve all worked together for a long time, so we don’t need to say much to get things done. People stop by because they need their vision sorted out, and we do what we can to help. We don’t go for anything flashy; we just provide the lenses that folks require. It’s a steady kind of life, and we like being in this busy corner of the town. There is always something to do, whether it is fixing a frame or calibrating a machine for a new set of orders.
