Tara Medical Enterprise

We are situated on the first floor of 18 Girish Avenue. It’s a nice old part of North Kolkata with those big houses and narrow streets. Our office isn't very large, but it’s enough for what we do. We mostly deal with medical supplies and various healthcare items. You have to walk up a flight of stairs to reach us. The rooms have high ceilings and the fans are always spinning to keep the air moving. We spend our days answering the phone and writing down what the local doctors need. It is a quiet kind of work, mostly involving inventory and talking to distributors. Sometimes the rain comes down hard and we have to make sure no water leaks in near the stock. We don't have a showroom or anything fancy like that. It’s just a place where we get work done. Most of the people we work with have known us for years, so there’s no need for formal introductions. We like the pace of life here on Girish Avenue. It’s a bit slower than the main roads, which suits us just fine. We just try to stay organized and keep the boxes moving out the door to where they are needed. It’s a small enterprise, and we are happy to keep things running just the way they are.
