Gillanders Arbuthnot & Company Ltd. is located right over at Plot No-70-71 on Hazuri Road. Being in Guru Nanak Market means there is always something going on outside our doors. It’s one of those busy places where you hear trucks and people talking all day long. We have been in this spot for some time. The market itself has a lot of history and we are just a small part of that daily bustle. Usually, the morning starts with unlocking the gates and checking what arrived overnight. The plots are numbered but sometimes people still get turned around trying to find us among all the other shops. Hazuri Road can be narrow when everyone is trying to park their scooters at once. We don't really bother with any flashy signs or anything like that. People who need to find us usually know the way or just ask around the market. It’s a practical space, mostly filled with files and the things we need to work. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just sit and wait or talk to the neighbors for a bit. It’s just how things go around here. We handle our business and go home at the end of the day. It’s not a complicated life in Guru Nanak Market. We just keep moving forward with the work we have.
