Our office is tucked away in South Plaza on the 4th floor. Being at 46/31/1 Gariahat Road means we deal with the constant noise of Ballygunge traffic every single day. The building is one of those places where everyone seems to be in a rush. Climbing up to the fourth floor is a bit of a workout if the lift is being temperamental, which happens more often than we’d like. Holtzman Systems Pvt. Ltd. has been operating from this spot for a while. We have a few windows that look out over the street, and watching the buses crawl by during rush hour is quite something. Inside, it’s mostly just desks, computers, and a lot of tangled wires under the floorboards. It gets pretty cramped when we have everyone in at once. We usually have lunch together at our desks because there isn't a proper break room. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we never seem to get around to it. Gariahat is a lively area, so there’s always somewhere to grab a quick snack downstairs. We’ve grown used to the hum of the city life outside. It’s just us working through our tasks, answering calls, and trying to keep things moving. Nothing glamorous about it, just a group of people trying to do their jobs well in this little corner of Ballygunge. We've got a small fridge that makes a weird noise too. It mostly holds old lunch boxes and some milk for the morning tea. We keep going because it's what we know.
