Bengal Wholesale

Running a wholesale business here on Garia Sanarpur Station Road means we are always on the move. We have a lot of stuff coming in and out, and the warehouse space is used up pretty quickly. Most of my day is spent on the phone or talking to the guys who come in to pick up their orders. We don't have a fancy showroom. It’s mostly just shelves and stacks of boxes piled high. The road outside is usually crowded with people heading to the station, so getting the trucks parked is a real chore. We have been in Garia for a long time, and we know most of the local shopkeepers who buy from us. We don't bother with fancy brochures or expensive ads. People come to us because they know what we have and they know where the warehouse is. It gets hot in the summer, and we just have a few fans going to try and keep the air moving. My clothes are usually a bit dusty from handling the cartons, but that’s just part of the job. We keep a ledger of everything, and sometimes it takes a while to find what we are looking for in the back. It’s a straightforward way to make a living. We just buy the goods and sell them in bulk, trying to keep everyone happy without making things too complicated for ourselves or our customers.
