Ganpati Plastics

Ganpati Plastics is our little business located at 35, Acharya Prafulla Chandra Road. Most people in Kolkata know this as APC Road, and it’s one of the most crowded and lively streets you’ll ever see. Our building is quite old and has that classic feel that you find in this part of the city. We’ve been working with plastics from this location for many years now. The space is filled with bags and rolls of plastic, leaving just enough room for us to move around and do our work. It’s not a fancy showroom by any means. It’s a place where work actually happens. We spend our time managing the stock and talking to the local traders who come by. The noise of the trams and buses on APC Road is constant, but it’s a sound we’ve grown to love. We don't have a professional marketing team or a polished brand image. We are just Ganpati Plastics, and we are glad to be a local fixture here. Most afternoons, we sit together and have some tea while we plan out the next day’s deliveries. It’s a very human way of doing business, without all the corporate layers and formalities. We know our customers by name and we treat everyone with the same basic respect. It’s a busy life here at number 35, but it’s the life we’ve built and we are happy with it.
