Our office is situated on the 1st Floor of 7A, Hospital Street. This is an older part of the city, and you can feel the history in the buildings around us. The staircase up to our floor is quite narrow and made of old stone. We work in the tea industrial sector, managing machines and supplies. The rooms have high ceilings which help keep it cool, though we still rely on old ceiling fans. The wooden floors have a habit of creaking whenever anyone moves around. We have a lot of old catalogs and technical manuals piled up on the desks. It is a quiet place for the most part, though the street noise from below drifts up through the windows. We spend our days coordinating with tea estates and making sure they have what they need for their production. There isn’t a fancy reception area or anything like that. If a visitor comes, we just pull up a chair in the main room. We’ve been here for many years, and the walls are a bit stained from all the tea we drink while working. The location is convenient for us, even if the traffic on Hospital Street can be a nightmare in the evenings. It is a very traditional way of working, focusing on the details and keeping things moving. We just enjoy the steady pace of our work here.
