Excel Infotech is at 50b Nirmal Chandra Street in Bowbazar. If you know this part of Kolkata, you know it’s full of history and old buildings. Our office is one of those places that feels lived in. We have tall ceilings and old windows, but the inside is packed with modern tech and cables everywhere. It’s a bit of a contrast. Bowbazar is always loud with the sound of trams, rickshaws, and people shouting, and all that noise filters into our workspace. We don't have a polished showroom or a fancy reception desk. It’s mostly just workbenches and shelves filled with components. We spend our time working on various tech projects and helping out people who walk in from the street. The floor is a bit uneven and the walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but it doesn't bother us. We are more focused on getting the repairs done or finishing the software tasks we have on our plates. We don’t talk about synergy or innovation here. We just fix what is broken and set up what needs setting up. Most of our customers are locals who have been coming to us for years. We eat our lunch at our desks most days because there’s always something that needs finishing. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living in a very busy part of the city. We keep the doors open until late most nights.
