We are located at 4 Govt Place, right near the Calcutta GPO. It’s an old part of the city with a lot of history in the buildings. Everett I Pvt Ltd has been around for some time, and being near the GPO makes sense for what we do. The office has that old-school feel you get in this part of Calcutta. We don't have modern glass walls or minimalist furniture. It's mostly old wooden desks and piles of ledgers and shipping documents. Working here means dealing with the bustle of the city every single day. We handle various logistics and agency tasks. It’s a lot of coordinating with different departments and making sure the paperwork for the port is in order. Sometimes the heat gets to us, but the fans keep things moving. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to get the jobs done that come across our desks. Our staff knows the local area like the back of their hands. If someone needs to find a specific office or official, we usually know where to go. We keep our operations simple and practical. No one here wears a suit unless they absolutely have to for a meeting. It’s a working office, plain and simple. We’ve been through many seasons here and the routine stays pretty much the same. Most of the time we’re just making sure the paperwork is stamped correctly.
