Our office is at 59 Muzaffar Ahmed Street. It’s a typical city street, fairly crowded and there is always something going on outside with the vendors and the traffic. We handle security devices, mostly things like fingerprint scanners and card readers for offices. If you walk into our place, you’ll see stacks of cardboard boxes everywhere. We don’t really have a fancy showroom; it’s more of a distribution hub and a place for repairs. We spend a lot of time testing devices to make sure they actually read the cards right before we send them out to a customer. Sometimes the software acts up and we have to spend hours on the phone or sitting at a computer trying to find the bug in the system. It’s frustrating but it’s just part of the trade. We aren't a big corporation with thousands of employees or a polished image. We are just a small team trying to keep up with all the orders coming in every day. People call us when their office door won't open or when they need to track who is coming in and out of their building. We aren't doing anything revolutionary, just selling and fixing the tools that people use every day. The street outside can be a real nightmare for parking, so we usually tell people to just take a rickshaw. It’s a busy, cramped way to work, but we are used to it and we just keep at it.
