Envirotech

Envirotech is our little shop over at 17 Canal Road South, in the Purbachall North area of Kolkata. Being in West Bengal, we deal with the humidity and the crowds every day. Our building isn't anything special to look at, just a regular place on a busy road. The 700078 area is where we've set up, and we've been here for a good while. Inside, it’s a bit cramped with all the equipment and papers we have lying around. We don't really have a cleaning crew, so we just tidy up ourselves when things get too messy. It’s a real working environment. We do various tech and environmental things, mostly just trying to solve problems as they come up. The tea stall around the corner is where we usually get our afternoon break. It’s a lot of manual work and technical thinking combined. We don't have a big corporate board or anything like that. It’s just the owner and a couple of staff members who know the business. Sometimes the traffic on Canal Road is so loud we have to shout a bit to hear each other, but you get used to it. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs to be done. It’s an honest living and we’ve made some good friends in the neighborhood over the years. We are just regular people trying to keep the business running smoothly in a busy city.
