We are located on the first floor of Ashray Tulip, over on Gariahat Road in the south part of Kolkata. Being in this part of the city means we’re surrounded by shops and constant traffic. Our work revolves around environmental services and soil testing. It’s a lot of laboratory work and data collection. The office is usually quiet compared to the noise coming from the street outside. We have various instruments and samples taking up most of the shelf space. Soil Enviro Industries Pvt. Ltd. has been here for years. We aren't a big corporate office with glass walls. It feels more like a workshop or a lab where people are actually doing things. We spend our mornings going over test results and the afternoons writing reports. Sometimes we have to head out to different sites to collect samples, which is a nice break from the office. Gariahat Road is always full of life, so finding a good snack nearby is never a problem. We’ve been at this address for a good number of years now. We know the building well and the other people who work here. We don't do much in the way of advertising. Most of our work comes from long-standing relationships with other firms. It’s a practical way to run a business. We just keep our heads down, do the testing properly, and make sure the results are accurate for everyone involved. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit narrow, but we manage just fine.
