Eleganz Software Private Limited

Our office is over at 3/2A, Srinath Mukherjee Lane. It is part of the Chitpur area, near the Ghu Ghu Danga post office. Kolkata 700030 is our little slice of the city. Eleganz Software might sound like a big name, but we are really just a small group of people working out of this space. The lane is one of those typical Kolkata streets where everyone knows each other. It can be a bit tricky to find if you aren't from around here, but once you know where the police station is, it's not too bad. We have a few rooms set up with our desks and chairs. It gets quite warm in the summers, so the fans are always running at full speed. We spend our hours writing code and checking for bugs, mostly just staying quiet and focused. There isn't a lot of drama here. We have our routine of morning tea and then getting straight into the work. We aren't into the whole corporate culture of meetings about meetings. We just talk to each other across the room when something needs fixing. The building is older, but it has a good feel to it. It’s just a place where we come to work and try to do things right. We like the local vibe of Chitpur and being away from the super busy office blocks in the main city.
