You can find us at Eastern Spinning Mills & Industries L. over on India Exchange Place. We’re actually tucked inside the Ashihs Industries area on the first floor. This part of the city has that old commercial feel to it, with narrow hallways and a lot of history in the walls. We’ve been involved in the spinning and textile world for a long time, so we’ve seen the industry change quite a bit over the years. Our space on the first floor is usually pretty busy with samples and paperwork flying around. It’s not the kind of place where everything is perfectly organized, but we know where everything is when it matters. Being in India Exchange Place means we are right in the thick of the trade district, which makes sense for the kind of mill work and industrial stuff we handle. We spend a lot of time talking to suppliers and checking on production runs. It’s a lot of back and forth, making sure the quality of the yarn or the fabric is what it’s supposed to be. Some days are louder than others, especially when there’s a lot of moving parts to coordinate. We aren't a big corporate office with glass walls; it’s more about the practical side of the industry here. We’ve stayed in this spot because it works for us and our people know the neighborhood. It’s just how we do things, day in and day out.
