Our office for Eastern Medicare Pvt Ltd is at 03 Nivedita Road. That’s in the Barabahera area of Nabagram, over in Kinnagar. It’s a quiet part of West Bengal, not too far from the river. We deal with medical supplies and healthcare products, so we have a lot of storage space filled with boxes of different sizes. The office itself is pretty basic, just some desks, a computer that’s a bit slow, and a few filing cabinets. We spend a lot of time on the phone with hospitals and clinics, making sure they have what they need. It’s not the most exciting work, but it’s important, so we try to be careful with the details. The road outside is usually quiet except for the occasional rickshaw or delivery van. We have a small group of people working here, and we’ve all been together for quite some time. We aren’t interested in sounding like a huge multinational corporation. We are just a local business trying to provide a service that people in the area actually need. Sometimes we have tea breaks out on the veranda when the weather is nice. Nabagram has a slow pace of life, and we don't try to rush things too much. As long as the orders go out on time and the inventory is right, we’re happy. It's a steady job in a nice, calm neighborhood.
