Eastern Enterprise

Eastern Enterprise is situated at 21-A/4, Baisnabghata Lane. This is a typical narrow lane, the kind where you have to be careful when two people are walking past each other. It’s a residential area mostly, so our office fits right into the local rhythm. We’ve been in this building for quite some time now. It’s an older structure with thick walls and high ceilings, which keeps it relatively cool even when the weather is hot outside. We don't have a big sign outside, just a small plate near the bell. Inside, it’s a bit of a maze with stacks of paper and old wooden desks. We like the character of the place, even if the floorboards creak a little when you walk over them. Our daily routine is pretty consistent. We come in, put the kettle on, and start going through the mail and orders. There’s no big corporate vibe here. We talk to each other across the room and solve problems as they pop up. Sometimes we have to move boxes around to find a chair for a visitor, but nobody seems to mind. It’s an informal way of working that suits us. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy setup. We just want to do our jobs and get home to our families at the end of the day. It’s a quiet, steady business in a quiet, steady lane.
