Durgami Technologies (Opc) Private Limited is tucked away in Flat 3A of a building on Rowland Road. It’s in Block B at 2/1 Rowland Road, right near L.R Sarani and the Circus Avenue area of Kolkata. This part of the city has a lot of history and the buildings reflect that. Our office is basically an apartment that we turned into a workspace. It makes for a very casual atmosphere. You won't find any cubicles here. We just have tables pushed against the walls and a few sofas for when we need to sit and talk. The kitchen is always busy because someone is always making tea or heating up food. It feels more like a home than a company headquarters. We like it that way because it keeps the stress down. Looking out the window, you see the old trees and the typical Kolkata rooftops. It can get a bit loud during the festival seasons, but that is just how it is living and working in this neighborhood. We don’t have a big sign out front, just a small nameplate. We prefer to keep things low-key and just focus on the day-to-day work. It is a small operation, just a few of us doing our thing in a quiet corner of a busy city. There is always someone around to share a joke or help out when something breaks down.
