You can find us at 31, Netajij Subhas Road, right in the Dalhousie area. This part of town is always crowded with people rushing to work. Our office is in an old building that has seen better days, but it has character. We spend most of our time dealing with paperwork and making sure the tea gets where it needs to go. It’s not a glamorous job. There are piles of ledgers and sometimes the phone won't stop ringing. We’ve been at this location for a long time. People around here know the name, mostly because we’ve been part of the scenery for decades. We drink a lot of tea ourselves while we work. It’s how we keep going through the afternoon slump. The stairs are a bit steep and the walls could use some fresh paint. But we don't mind. We focus on the daily tasks, checking shipments and talking to suppliers. Sometimes the traffic outside gets so loud we have to shout a bit. It’s just how things are in this part of the city. We aren't trying to be something we aren't. We just show up, do the work, and head home when the sun goes down. It's a steady rhythm that works for us. Most of the staff has been here for years, so we’re more like a group of friends than just coworkers. We have our lunches together in the small back room.
