Dsr Webtech Private Limited is out in a village called North Jojra, near Rohanda. We are set up at Sk Abutaleb’s place. It’s quite a way out from the main city of Kolkata, located in the North 24 Parganas area. The surroundings are mostly green, with a lot of trees and open spaces around the village. It is a quiet life here compared to the bustle of the city. We have our small office space where we handle the tech side of things. It feels a bit strange sometimes, working on computers while the cows are grazing just outside the window, but we like the contrast. The internet can be a bit tricky when the weather is bad, but we have learned to be patient. Most of us are from the local area, so we don't have long commutes. We just hop on our bikes and we are here in ten minutes. We don’t have a big corporate canteen, so we eat our lunch together under the shade of the porch. It’s a simple way of living and working. We focus on what we have to do without all the extra noise you get in a big city office. It’s honest work in a place that still feels like a real community. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not, just a few people using technology in a rural setting.
