It’s a lively place to be, that’s for sure. Our office is in one of those buildings that has seen a lot of years go by. The stairs are a bit steep and the hallways are narrow, but it has a certain character you don't find in those new glass towers. We have some windows that look out onto the street, so there is always something to watch if you need a two-minute break. The sound of horns and shouting vendors is just part of the background noise for us now. We have a few rooms filled with desks and a lot of paper. It’s not very organized to look at, but we know where everything is. We don’t go in for fancy decorations or expensive rugs. It is just a place to get the daily tasks done. We usually get our tea from the guy across the street who has been there as long as we can remember. It is a very typical North Kolkata vibe. We aren't doing anything flashy, just sticking to the work and keeping the lights on. It’s a hard-working atmosphere without any of the corporate pretense that you see in other places.
