Our office for Dpscltd is tucked away at 319/D Banamali Banerjee Road. This is the Haridevpur area of Kolkata, which is a bit quieter than the center of the city but still has its own pace. We have been at this specific address for a long time. It is a residential-style building where we have set up our workspace on one of the floors. The road outside can be quite narrow at times, so finding a place to park is often a bit of a puzzle for visitors. Most of us just walk or take a quick rickshaw ride from the main crossing. Inside the office, it is mostly just desks and the constant sound of keyboards. We do not really care much for the corporate aesthetic. There are files stacked in various corners and the walls are a simple off-white. It is a very practical space for the kind of work we handle here every day. The neighborhood is quite friendly, and we are on good terms with the families living in the houses nearby. Sometimes we take a quick break at the corner tea stall when we need a breather from the screen. The Kolkata 700082 area has a very specific, relaxed feel to it. We do not have any large signs or flashing lights out front to show where we are. You just find the gate and walk in. It is a local operation and we like keeping things straightforward and informal while we get through our daily tasks.
