Digitech-Hr is located right in Bijoygarh, at 10/71. If you know the Kolkata area, you know it can get pretty crowded around here. Our space is just a regular office where we spend our hours looking at resumes and talking to people about work. It’s not a huge building, just a functional place where we can get things done. We’ve got a few computers that have seen better days, but they still work fine for what we do. People come in looking for advice on jobs or trying to find staff for their own small businesses. We don’t have a big receptionist or anything like that. Usually, whoever is closest to the door just says hello. The tea stall nearby is where we get most of our breaks. It’s a bit noisy with the traffic outside, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. We try to keep our files organized, though sometimes the stacks get a bit high on the desks. It’s just us doing our thing every day. We don’t use a lot of big words to describe what we do. We just help with the hiring side of things. It’s a job like any other, and we like being part of the neighborhood here. Sometimes the power goes out, but we just wait it out and get back to work. That’s just life at 10/71 in the middle of Kolkata.
