Diana Tea Co. Ltd.

Diana Tea Co. Ltd. operates out of Sir RNM House on Lal Bazar Street. We are up on the 4th floor, so we get a bit of a view of the street below, though it is usually just a lot of traffic and people. Lal Bazar is a central spot, very hectic and loud, but our office stays fairly separate from that noise. We deal with tea, which means our day revolves around samples and market prices. The building is one of those sturdy old structures with high ceilings. We have been in this space for a long time. There is no fancy lobby or anything like that. You just come up and find us. We spend a lot of time talking to tea gardens and figuring out a way to move the product. It is a lot of back-and-forth communication. Sometimes the elevator in the building acts up, which is a bit of a pain for everyone. We have a small crew here, and we all know our roles. We aren't trying to change the world; we just want to get the tea where it needs to go without too much trouble. It is a plain way of doing business, but it has worked for us so far. We keep our records in order and try to stay on top of the seasonal shifts in the tea industry. It takes a lot of patience to deal with the logistics, but that is just part of the trade.
