Dhunseri Tea

Dhunseri Tea is situated at Dhunseri House, which is located at 4A Udhman Street. This is an old part of the city, and the streets are quite narrow. You have to be careful when driving down here because of all the people and bicycles. Our building has a lot of history and you can feel it when you walk inside. The floors are made of old wood that creaks under your feet. We do not have a modern office setup with open plans or bright lights. It is more of a traditional space with heavy wooden desks and stacks of old records. We have been operating from Udhman Street for a very long time. Most of our day is spent talking to brokers and people from the tea estates. It can get quite loud in the afternoons when everyone is busy. We do not have a big team of marketing people. We rely on the relationships we have built over many decades. We still use ceiling fans to keep cool, and they make a steady humming sound all day. It is a comfortable environment for us. We know all the other business owners on the street and often stop to chat with them. We are not trying to be a global giant. We just want to do our business properly and maintain the traditions we have always followed.
