Dgb Marketing Llp is situated in the Shantiniketan Building on Camac Street. We are up on the 9th floor in Room No-2. It’s a well-known building in Kolkata, but our office inside is actually pretty modest. We have a few desks pushed together and a corner where we keep the water cooler and the tea supplies. Being on the 9th floor means we have to wait for the elevator quite a bit, which is where a lot of the building gossip happens. Dgb Marketing is run by a small group of us who just wanted to do things our own way. We don't follow a strict corporate handbook. If someone is tired, they take a break. If there’s a lot of work, we all stay late until it's done. It’s a very communal way of working. Camac Street is always busy, so there’s a lot of energy around the building that keeps us going. We try to keep that energy going inside the office too. We handle marketing tasks for various people, and we try to be as straightforward as possible. No one here likes those long, pointless meetings that go nowhere. We’d rather just talk for five minutes and then get back to our desks. Our room is usually a bit messy with notes and old newspapers, but we know where everything is. It’s a working office, not a showroom, and we like it that way.
