Designation

We are set up in Asyst Park over in Kolkata. Being in West Bengal, the weather can get pretty humid, but the building keeps us dry when the monsoon rains start coming down hard. It’s a decent enough spot to work from, even if the commute through the city can be a bit of a headache some days. Our floor is usually pretty busy with people coming and going. We don't have any of those modern lounge areas you see in magazines, just some sturdy tables and chairs that have seen better days. The walls are mostly bare except for a few calendars and notes we’ve taped up so we don't forget deadlines. We’ve been here for a bit now and know the local food spots pretty well. Lunch is usually a quick affair so we can get back to our computers. It’s not the most glamorous setup, but it’s where we do our business. Sometimes the elevators are slow, so we take the stairs if we’re in a rush. We handle things as they come and try not to let the small stresses of the day get to us. It’s a straightforward environment for people who just want to get their work finished and head home. We aren't trying to impress anyone with the office décor. We just need a reliable place to sit and think. There is a small tea stall just outside the gate where we often find ourselves chatting about the news.
