If you head over to Dhakuria in Kolkata, you’ll find us at 66 Station Road. It’s a very typical Kolkata street, always something happening outside. Descom Ltd has been operating from this spot for a while now. Being right on Station Road means there’s a constant flow of people heading to and from the trains. It’s a lively atmosphere to work in. Our office isn't anything special to look at from the outside, just a regular door in a line of buildings. Inside, it’s just us working at our desks. We deal with various things throughout the day, mostly keeping busy with the usual paperwork and calls. The location is great because it’s so easy for the staff to get to work, even if the trains are running a bit late sometimes. We get our lunch from the local shops nearby, and there’s always a good spot for a quick tea. The building at number 66 has its quirks, like the narrow hallway and the old-style windows, but it’s home to us. We aren't a big corporate giant with hundreds of floors; we’re just a local business doing our thing. The West Bengal weather can be a bit much in the summer, but we’ve got our fans going and we manage. It’s a practical, honest place to spend the workday. You can hear the sounds of the city all day long, which keeps things interesting.
