Working in digital marketing from here is interesting. We don't need a huge storefront because most of what we do happens on the computer. Our space is functional. It is filled with laptops, chargers, and a few notebooks where we scribble down ideas. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed. We don't wear suits or have formal meetings. We just sit around and figure out how to help businesses get more customers through the internet. Patuli is a nice part of Kolkata to be in. It is not as loud as the city center which helps when we need to concentrate. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but that's just life here. We started this small and have kept it that way on purpose. It is easier to manage when you know everyone in the room. We don't use a lot of technical jargon when we talk to people because it just confuses things. We prefer to speak plainly about what we can do. The office is a bit crowded with books and old coffee mugs but it is a good place to work. We spend a lot of hours here but it doesn't feel like a chore most of the time.
