D Design

If you know the Netaji Metro Station, you can find us pretty easily. We are over on Jadunath Ukil Road in Paschim Putiary. The building is number 51/1 and it feels like a regular neighborhood spot rather than a big business hub. Inside D Design, it’s mostly just desks, computers, and a lot of sketches lying around. The walk from the metro is short, which is nice when it’s raining, but the street gets quite narrow and crowded during the morning rush. We spend most of our hours looking at screens or arguing about where a line should go on a drawing. It’s not always organized and sometimes the coffee mugs pile up near the printer. The walls are a bit plain because we never got around to decorating them much. We’ve been here for a while and the neighbors know us. The tea stall at the corner is where we end up most afternoons when the brainstorming gets stuck. It’s a small team and we just handle whatever design work comes through the door. Some days are very quiet and others are a bit chaotic with everyone talking at once. It’s just how it goes here in this part of Kolkata. We don’t have a big reception area or anything like that. You just walk in and see us working. It feels real and a bit lived-in, just a normal place where people draw and plan things out.
