The zip code is 700002, which is right in the thick of North Kolkata. The building we are in is quite old, with the kind of thick walls that keep the heat out a bit during the summer. Cyndrake is just a small business and we don't try to act like we are bigger than we are. We do our daily work without a lot of noise. The street outside is always full of life, with tea stalls and people heading to the market. We can hear the trams and the calls of the street vendors all day long. Inside, it’s a bit quieter. We have our computers and desks set up in a way that works for us. We aren't into the whole corporate culture of meetings about meetings. We just sit down and get the tasks done. Most of us have been in Kolkata our whole lives, so we are used to the pace here. We drink a lot of chai and talk about the local news during our breaks. It’s an honest way to make a living. We don't have any fancy posters on the wall or big speeches about what we do. We are just here on Rani Harsha Mukhi Road, doing our bit every day until it is time to head home.
