We’ve set up Cyale Technology Private Limited in this part of Kolkata because it’s a good, central location. It’s not a huge office building, just a flat that we’ve converted into a workspace. We prefer it this way because it feels more like a home than a sterile corporate office. There are a few of us here every day, working on different tech projects. We don’t go in for big marketing speeches or try to sound more important than we are. We’re just a group of people who are good with technology and decided to make a business out of it. The 2nd-floor walk-up keeps us active, and the neighborhood is usually full of life. We spend most of our hours in front of screens, coding or troubleshooting. We started this company to have a place where we could work on interesting things without a boss breathing down our necks every five minutes. We handle whatever comes our way, from small software fixes to bigger development jobs. It’s a simple operation. We don’t have any polished slogans or fancy branding. We just do the work, and we try to do it right. That’s really all there is to it. We’re just a local tech team in a flat. Sometimes the tea lady downstairs forgets our order, but we manage.
