Computer World

We are located at Limit Bhaban, number 1047 on Sreenagar Main Road. If you are coming from Garia, you know how the traffic can get near the Pancaasayar post office. Our shop, Computer World, is usually filled with the sound of whirring fans and the clicking of keyboards. We have stacks of old motherboards and monitors piled up in the back room because we never seem to throw anything away. The floor is concrete and has some stains from coffee spills over the years. We spend our days looking at blue screens and trying to figure out why someone’s laptop is making a grinding noise. It is a bit of a dusty job, especially with all the static electricity pulling in the dirt from the road outside. We keep a few chairs near the front for customers to wait, but they usually end up standing and watching us work. Sreenagar Main Road is always noisy, so we usually have the radio playing to drown out the horns. Sometimes the internet goes down and we just sit there drinking tea until it comes back up. It is not a fancy showroom. It is just a place where we fix things and sell whatever parts we have in stock that week. We know most of the people around Garia who need their machines looked at. It is honest work and keeps us busy enough throughout the month. We just keep plugging along and trying to solve whatever problems walk through the front door.
