Compusoft

Our shop is on Bhupen Bose Ave, right in the heart of Shyambazar. It’s a bit of an old building, so the walls are thick and it stays relatively cool even when it’s hot outside. Compusoft isn't a huge place. It’s mostly just desks covered in cables and various computer parts. We spend a lot of time explaining to people why their old computers are slowing down. It’s just part of the job. Most of our day is spent looking at code or trying to figure out why a motherboard isn't responding. We’ve been here at 80 A for some time now, so the locals know us. We don't really have a big sign out front, just enough for people to find the door. Sometimes we have tea while waiting for a system to reboot or a backup to finish. It’s a slow process sometimes, fixing things. You can't rush it or you'll break something else. We handle a lot of different problems, from software installs to hardware replacements. It’s nothing fancy, just a straightforward shop where we work on whatever is brought to us. The neighborhood is lively, so there’s always something going on outside. We just keep our heads down and get on with it. It’s a decent way to spend the day, honestly. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us who know our way around a motherboard. We keep the shop open late if there is a lot of work.
