Cognome (India) Private Limited is on the 4th floor of Touchstone Tower, which is located in EN-10, Sector V, Salt Lake. If you work in tech in Kolkata, you probably know Sector V is where all the action is. The building is always busy with people coming and going from different companies. Our office is just a regular floor space with desks and chairs and the usual office equipment. We don’t have any of those fancy bean bags or game rooms you see in movies. It’s a place for working, and that’s mostly what we do here. The elevators can be a bit of a wait in the morning when everyone is trying to get to their floor at the same time. Once we are inside, it’s all about the tasks for the day. We handle various corporate and tech jobs. The views from the 4th floor are just of other buildings and the busy streets below. There is a lot of traffic in this area, so many of us try to adjust our hours to avoid the worst of it. We aren't a giant multinational corporation, just a medium-sized group of people doing our jobs in a well-known business hub. We don't have any complicated philosophies. We just show up, do the work that’s assigned, and try to make sure everything is running smoothly before we lock up for the night.
