We are up here on the 3rd floor at 34 Shantinagar. It gets quite warm in the afternoons, but the fans keep things moving well enough for us to stay focused. Most days, we just get on with whatever needs doing at the desk. Kolkata is always busy, and our little corner here is no different. You can hear the noise from the street below even from this high up, which is just part of the background now. Sometimes the lift acts up, so we take the stairs, which is good for the legs I suppose. There are a few of us working here, mostly just handling the daily paperwork and making sure things are sorted. It’s not a fancy place, just a regular office with tables and chairs and a lot of files. We've been here for a while now. Neighbors are mostly okay, some other businesses and families around. People come and go throughout the day. It’s a bit cramped when we have a lot of stuff delivered, but we manage. In the evenings, the light hits the windows just right and it’s actually quite nice to look out at the city before heading home. We don't have much to say other than we are just here working. The address is 700040, which most delivery guys know well by now. If you’re around Shantinagar, you’ve probably walked past our building a hundred times without really noticing it. We keep things simple and try to get home before the traffic gets too bad.
