Cetana Marketing Private Limited is located right on the ground floor at 78 Bentinck Street. If you know Kolkata, you know this area is always moving and there is never a dull moment. There’s a lot of noise from the traffic outside, but inside our office, we just keep our heads down and work. Being on the ground floor means we see a lot of people walking by all day long, which is interesting. Sometimes the dust from the street gets in, so we spend a fair bit of time cleaning off the desks every morning. It’s a straightforward space without any unnecessary frills. We didn't spend a fortune on interior design because that’s not really who we are. We have some sturdy tables and enough chairs for everyone who works here. We handle a lot of different tasks for the business, mostly centered around making sure things move along as they should. The morning routine is always the same—open the shutters, get the fans going, and start going through the daily logs. We don’t have a big fancy lobby or a receptionist in a suit. Usually, whoever is closest to the door just says hello to whoever walks in. It’s just how we do things at Cetana. We’ve been at this Kolkata address for a bit now and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the street. It’s a busy place to be, but it keeps us on our toes every single day.
