Narayani Tea House

We are set up at 11 C R G Kar Road in Shyambazar. If you look for the Dhanwantary Medical Shop, we are right near that spot. Usually, the morning starts with the same routine of getting things ready. It gets quite loud outside with all the traffic on the road, but inside it stays pretty much the same day to day. We spend a lot of time just keeping the place running and making sure the tea is ready when people stop by. The shop isn't anything fancy to look at. We have some benches and the stove is always going. Most people who come in are just passing through the neighborhood or work nearby. Sometimes the rain makes things a bit slow, but mostly it is just steady. We don't have a big team or anything, just a few of us making sure everything is in its place. The floor needs sweeping often because of the dust from the street. You can hear the buses going by all afternoon. We just stay busy with the orders and keep an eye on the clock. It is a simple setup here on C R G Kar Road. We don't really do anything complicated. It is just about getting the work done and being here when the doors open. Sometimes we sit out front when it is quiet, but that doesn't happen too much in this part of town.
