Bush Tea Company (P) Ltd. is located on the 6th floor of Stephen Court at 18A Park Street. Being up on the sixth floor gives us a bit of a view, but we’re usually too busy to look out the window. The office has that old-school feel you find in some of the heritage buildings around here. We deal with tea, so there are always tins and bags sitting around for tasting. It’s a lot of paperwork, dealing with auctions and talking to people from the tea gardens. Park Street is always full of life, and you can hear the city humming even from up here. Sometimes the lift in this old building takes forever, and we end up taking the stairs if we’re in a rush. We don't have a modern, sleek office with glass walls. Instead, we have wooden desks and heavy cabinets filled with records. It’s a bit dusty sometimes, but it feels right for a tea company. We spend our time checking on shipments and making sure the quality is where it should be. We’re just a group of people who know a lot about tea and have been doing this for a long time. It’s not a complicated business model, but it requires a lot of attention to detail and patience. We just show up every day and keep the tea moving.
