Our office is at 46A Jessore Road in the Dum Dum area of Kolkata. Being on Jessore Road means we are always surrounded by the sound of traffic and the general hustle of the city. We are pretty close to the airport, so you can often hear planes overhead too. We handle a lot of computer-related stuff and information technology services here. The office isn't very big, and it’s usually filled with the hum of servers and cooling fans. We have cables running along the floor and stacks of old hardware in the corners because that’s just how it goes in a tech shop. It’s a busy place, and we are usually juggling three or four things at once. Whether it is fixing a network issue or helping someone with their internet connection, we just get on with it. Dum Dum is a crowded place, but it has a lot of energy, and we like being part of that. We aren't a big, polished IT firm with people in ties; we are more of a hands-on crew. People drop by with their laptops or just to ask a quick question about their systems. We keep a pot of tea going and try to solve problems as they come in. It’s a lot of hard work and sometimes long hours, but it keeps us busy and the bills paid.
