Bapan Fisheries (Opc) Private Limited

We are located at 297E/2 on Motilal Gupta Road, which is a busy stretch of road in this part of town. Bapan Fisheries is a small setup, and being an OPC means it is a very personal kind of business. We spend our time managing the fish trade from this little office. It is not a place where we keep the fish, but it is where all the decisions are made. The room is filled with notebooks and some old computers that we use to keep track of everything. The sounds of the street come right through the windows, so it is never really quiet here. We are always talking to people about the latest catch or the prices in the market. It is a lot of work for a small team, but we get it done. We don't have any big marketing plans or anything like that. Word of mouth is usually how people hear about us. We have been in this spot for a bit and the local shopkeepers are all familiar faces to us. Sometimes the monsoon rains make the road outside a bit of a mess, but we still show up and get to work. It is just a basic business built on knowing the fish industry and working hard every day. We don't try to be anything we are not. It is just us and the fish business on a busy Kolkata road.
