Our office is at Q-17 Tanu Villa in Patuli, right near the Baishnabghata Patuli Township area. If you’re looking for us, we are quite close to the Patuli Fire Station, which is the easiest way to explain the directions to anyone coming over. Sandgate Software Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is basically run out of this villa. It feels more like a house than a strict office, which we actually like. We have our computers set up in the main rooms and use the kitchen for tea breaks. It is a bit different from those glass buildings you see in the tech parks. Being near the fire station means we hear the sirens every now and then, but otherwise, the area is pretty calm. We do software work, so most of our day is just sitting in front of monitors and typing. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. If the doorbell rings, whoever is closest to the door goes to answer it. There are often stacks of papers and old manuals lying around that we really should get around to filing. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a lobby or fancy furniture. We just focus on the projects we have on our plates. It’s a comfortable place to spend the day, and we usually bring our own lunch or get something from the local shops nearby. It’s a straightforward way to run a business.
