The Web Scouts

We are based over at G/2 Baghajatin under the name The Web Scouts. It’s a small ground floor space where we do all our computer work. It isn't one of those big tech offices with bean bags and free snacks. It’s mostly just us, our computers, and a lot of coffee mugs scattered around. We spend the day looking at screens, writing code, and trying to fix things that aren't working right on the internet. Baghajatin is a busy neighborhood, so there is always something going on outside our door. We’ve been here for a while now and have gotten to know the tea stall owners nearby pretty well. Our work involves a lot of sitting and thinking, which can be exhausting in its own way. We handle various online projects for people who need help getting their stuff online. Sometimes we stay late when a project is giving us trouble. The office is a bit cramped because we have a lot of cables and extra monitors taking up space. It’s a practical workspace, nothing more. We don't really do much advertising ourselves. Most of our work comes from word of mouth or people in the area who know we do this kind of thing. We just focus on the tasks at hand and try to make sure everything we build actually works the way it should. It’s quiet work most of the time except for the traffic outside.
