You can find us down Topsia 2nd Lane, not too far from the Elite Rubber Factory. We’re at number 20. It’s a combined space where we do both the clinic work and the optical side of things. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes with the frames on display and the exam area, but we’ve made it work for years. This part of Kolkata, 700039, is always bustling, and our shop is no different. We see a lot of people coming in to get their eyes checked or to pick out a new pair of glasses when their old ones break. The neighborhood near the MLA Javed Ahmed Khan area is lively. We usually have the radio playing low in the background while we work. It’s a local spot, nothing too high-end. We just try to help people see a bit better and take care of basic health needs. Sometimes the delivery bikes for the factory make a lot of noise outside, but you get used to it. We keep our records in old folders mostly. It’s just a normal business run by normal people. We open up in the morning and stay until the last person is sorted out. It’s a simple life here in Topsia, and we’re glad to be part of the street. It’s dusty out there, but we keep the glasses wiped clean and the clinic ready for whoever stops by next.
