We operate out of Flat No. 2B at No. 152/G South Sinthee Road. It’s an apartment turned into an office, which gives it a very different feel than a glass tower. We like being in South Sinthee. It feels real. There’s the usual sounds of the neighborhood—vendors calling out, bikes going past, and neighbors talking. Inside, we have our computers and servers set up. Since we are Avior Technologies Pvt. Ltd., there’s usually a lot of clicking and humming from the machines. We spend a lot of our time looking at code or fixing technical issues that pop up. It’s not always glamorous work, and sometimes we stay late when a project is giving us trouble. The kitchen in the flat is where we spend a lot of time getting water or snacks to keep us going. We don’t have a big receptionist or a lobby with magazines. You just come in and we’re right there at our desks. It’s a practical way to run a tech company without all the extra fluff. We’ve been in this flat for a while and have gotten used to the quirks of the building. Sometimes the lift is slow, so we take the stairs instead. It’s just a group of us who know what we’re doing, working together in a quiet part of town. We don’t make a big fuss about things; we just sit down and get the work finished as best as we can every single day.
