Our office is up in the hills, located in Kurseong near Victoria School in the Dowhill area. If you’ve been to Darjeeling district, you know the air is cooler and the views are something else. We work from a building tucked away on the hillside. It’s a bit different from working in a hot, crowded city. Sometimes the mist rolls in and you can hardly see the road outside, which is actually quite nice for staying focused on tech work. We are a small team and we’ve been here for a bit. The office is pretty basic—just enough room for our computers and a place to make some tea. We don't have a big sign or a fancy entrance. Most people find us because they know where Victoria School is. We spend our time working on various technology projects. It’s quiet up here, which suits us just fine. We don't have those long corporate meetings; we usually just talk across the room when something needs to be decided. The internet can be a bit tricky during the heavy rains, but we manage to get things done. It’s a peaceful place to work, and we like being away from the noise of the bigger towns. We just focus on our daily tasks and try to keep everything running as it should. It’s a simple life and a simple way of doing business that fits the mountain atmosphere. We are just regular people doing technical work.
